From the Jazz Casual program of December 7, 1963: John Coltrane on sax, McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, and Elvin Jones on drums, performing the number from the Afro Blue Impressions album that was released that year.

Jazz Casual was hosted by Ralph Gleason, who’s the white guy with the pipe and cardigan sitting next to Tyner’s piano. This series ran on WNET in New York in the early 1960s; I dimly recall watching it with my uncle Wilfred who was a huge jazz fan.
