“I Only Have Eyes For You” August 1, 2007

Posted by Jeff in Jazz, Music, Peggy Lee.
trackback

From 1950, Peggy Lee is accompanied by her husband, guitarist Dave Barbour, in this song by Harry Warren and Al Dubin, originally sung by Dick Powell to Ruby Keeler in the 1934 Warner Bros. musical Dames. The song is also famous for versions recorded by the Flamingos and the Lettermen.

I think this might be another of the Snader Telescriptions I talked about here.
