Bilie Holiday and Louis Armstrong perform “Farewell to Storyville,” a 1927 number by Clarence Williams and Spencer Williams. Numerous websites to the contrary, Billie Holiday did not write the lyrics, as she would only have been twelve years old at the time …

From the 1947 movie New Orleans, the movie for which “Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans” was written.
