Gerald Ford, 1913-2006 December 27, 2006Posted by Jeff in "Reality has a well-known liberal bias", In memoriam.
Since Warren G. Harding followed William Howard Taft, each successive Republican to serve in the White House has made his Republican predecessors look good in comparison. Apart from this fact, there is absolutely no reason to summon any nostalgia for Gerald Ford except as the first of two unelected politicians to hold the Oval Office. (Oh, and there’s this to remember him by.)
I see much more reason to honor his widow.
He’s a nice guy, but he played too much football with his helmet off.
